LOW LAND CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.
David J. Robichaux, Jr., better known as "Mr. Bubby" joined the army in 1954 as a young man and had the vision to be a successful businessman. During the black gold (oil) rush in Louisiana in the 60s, Mr. Bubby began his construction company as a dragline and dozer operator for many oilfield companies exploring for oil building locations throughout Lafourche & Terrebonne Parish. Having married Leona Gaudet from North Thibodaux in 1958, they raised seven children who now all work for Low Land Construction.
In November of 2013, Low Land relocated its entire operation to Houma, La. to better serve our clients in the public and private sectors from land and water.
